Corsellis' delicate paintings explore the interplay of light and shadow within interior
spaces, capturing fleeting, existential moments in ambiguous, often desolate settings.
These shifting movements of light and shadow she depicts mirror the fluid and
uncertain nature of our own lives, drawing a connection between the external world
and the internal sense of awe and contemplation it evokes. Through both intimate and
expansive compositions, Corsellis' aim is to provide moments of contemplation,
rumination and empirical insight.
